About

Ron Stout is a certified, more like certifiable, baby-boomer.  Over the course of three-plus decades he has completed multiple tours of duty as a faithful conscript on the blood-stained terra firma of relationship battles, and is a decorated veteran of two conjugal wars.  As a man he has experienced the sweeping changes in gender roles since the sixties.

As an academic, Ron holds a B.A. in Psychology, a M.S. in Counseling & Human Development, and is an adjunct college professor teaching courses in educational psychology, human development, and personal & social adjustment.  Stout also continues to conduct topical research observing humanoids in their natural habitat, and though he knows every one of them is either a male or a female, it is the never-ending variations on the theme he finds so astounding.

Throughout his thirty-plus years of diverse professional experience he has often been called a renaissance man.  In his first career he was an award-winning master scuba instructor, underwater television producer and photographer, specialty retailer, and travel wholesaler.  Next, after fourteen years of globe-trotting, he reinvented himself and launched a successful career in corporate training & development, conducting programs for organizations such as American Airlines, Volkswagen of America, Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and Cingular Wireless, where he ultimately became an executive with a Fortune Fifty corporation.  His fascinating work has taken him all over the United States and Mexico, throughout the islands of the Caribbean, into South America, and across the pond to England, Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland.

Now fully engrossed in his third and most meaningful career, Ron is a writer, college professor, social commentator, and noted professional speaker.  He regularly conducts both corporate and public training programs and presentations on gender differences in the workplace, sales training, management development, the multi-generational workforce, and on how women and men can work and live effectively together.

These days Ron lives somewhere over the clouds, under the rainbow, a stone’s throw as the crow flies just the other side of reality.  He prefers to spend most of his time somewhere between the 30th and 35th parallel with anyone who bathes regularly and can speak in complete sentences.
